LICENCE AGREEMENT 2026

(1 March 2026 – 28 February 2027)

This Licence Agreement forms a legally binding contract between the Caravan Owner and G.D. Hardy Ltd for the occupation of a caravan pitch for the 2026 season.

This Agreement must be read together with the G.D. Hardy Ltd Park Rules 2026, which form part of this contract.

This Agreement creates a contractual licence only. It does not create a tenancy and does not grant security of tenure or residential rights.

1. Agreement Period

This Licence is valid from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027.

Renewal is required annually before 1 March and is subject to compliance with this Agreement and the Park Rules 2026.

Failure to renew or comply may result in termination of this Licence.

2. Holiday Use Only

The caravan:

• Is for holiday and recreational use only.

• Must not be used as a primary or permanent residence.

• Must comply with all local authority planning and licensing conditions.

The Owner must maintain a permanent residential address elsewhere.

Proof of permanent residence must be provided annually upon request.

Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in suspension of services and/or termination of this Licence.

3. Fees & Charges

Pitch fees and all applicable charges must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

Failure to pay may result in:

• Interest charges

• Suspension of services

• Termination of this Licence

No refunds will be issued where termination results from breach of this Agreement.

4. Insurance & Safety

The Owner must:

• Maintain public liability insurance with minimum cover of £2 million.

• Ensure the caravan is insured against fire, theft and damage.

• Comply with gas, electrical and fire safety requirements.

• Maintain working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Owner remains legally responsible for safety compliance at all times.

5. Park Rules

The Park Rules 2026 form part of this Agreement and are legally binding.

The Owner is responsible for ensuring that they, their family, guests and contractors comply with the Park Rules at all times.

Breach of the Park Rules constitutes breach of this Licence.

6. Termination & Removal

This Licence may be terminated for:

• Non-payment

• Breach of this Agreement

• Breach of Park Rules

• Anti-social or criminal behaviour

• Providing false or misleading information

Where appropriate, written notice will be issued requiring breach to be remedied within 21 days.

Serious breaches may result in immediate termination.

Upon termination:

• The caravan must be removed within 28 days.

• A £500 + VAT pull-off fee applies.

• Failure to remove permits G.D. Hardy Ltd to arrange removal at the Owner’s expense.
